Hello SCV35 Families,
I hope families are enjoying the last days of summer vacation. My summer has been a time to reflect on the many successes from the past school year and to begin planning for the 2023-2024 school year.
Last year, with input from teachers, students, and community members, we established our SCV35 Portrait of a Graduate to instill important habits, mindsets, and characteristics of successful learners.
The District also managed nearly $8.5 million in facility updates and enhancements and made great strides with our Personalized Competency-Based Learning initiative. PCBL has allowed us to create learning pathways for our students to achieve success while implementing standards-based grading to check their progress and ensure proficiency.
With all of the progress we made last year, we are excited to continue these initiatives and are looking forward to having students back on our campuses.
